For the love of the environment: Charity Shopper Tree
This bag helps trees grow... and many trees become a forest. For every LÄSSIG Charity Shopper sold, we plant a tree in Germany in cooperation with the Schutzgemeinschaft Deutscher Wald (SDW) (German Forest Protection Association). In 2012, the idea of a Charity Shopper that is both fashionable and sustainable was born.
Since the project began, over 51,500 trees have been planted.
The shoulder bags from the Green Label collection are made from recycled polyester, which is produced from recycled plastic bottles.
It is the perfect bag for shopping at the supermarket or mall or for carrying personal items to the beach, pool, or park. The shopper is easy to carry and very practical! This bag can hold a lot and can be carried comfortably on the side or across the shoulder thanks to its long shoulder strap.
Save the Ocean – Save our Future: Charity Shopper Ocean
The simple and practical Charity Shopper Ocean is made from 100% recycled polyester. Its teardrop shape, combined with the message ‘Save the Ocean – Save our future’, is intended to draw attention to the plight of the oceans and LÄSSIG's commitment to the cause.
Sixteen recycled PET bottles were used to make the LÄSSIG Shopper Ocean.
LÄSSIG made a conscious decision to collaborate with Waste2Wear: Waste2Wear produces environmentally friendly fabrics from used, recycled plastic bottles in a fully certified and transparent value chain. The aim is to use plastic waste to manufacture innovative textiles and create new, high-quality products.
More can be done to combat the existing pollution of the oceans. That is why LÄSSIG supports the non-profit organization HandsOn with €2 for every shopper sold. HandsOn organizes and mobilizes volunteers to collect waste on beaches and remove plastic waste before it pollutes the ocean.
