We only use harmless, pollutant-tested and high-quality materials for our products – recycled polyester from PET bottles, GOTS-certified organic cotton and durable Tritan. In addition to these, we are constantly on the look out for new, innovative materials and pioneering manufacturing processes with which we can effectively expand our sustainable range.
Through certificates and tests seals – Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®, PETA Approved Vegan or BPA FREE – we want to make our sustainability claims transparent for everyone. Our products are regularly tested and strictly controlled by recognized test institutes.

Cotton is an integral part of the materials used at LÄSSIG. We therefore take particular care to ensure that it is grown and produced in the most resource-friendly way possible in order to be able to offer not only high-quality and durable, but also sustainable products. Together with Raddis® Cotton, LÄSSIG is committed to sustainable and regenerative cotton cultivation methods in South-East India at the highest level. By participating in the Raddis® system, we not only contribute to a positive ecological impact in the ecosystem, but also - through direct cooperation with the cotton farmers - to improving the living conditions of the people in South-East India.

Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS)®
The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is the world’s leading standard for organically produced natural fibers. From the cotton plantation to the secondary packaging, the certificate defines environmental as well as social criteria along the entire textile production chain and regularly checks whether regulations have been met. Products bearing the GOTS seal are guaranteed to be environmentally friendly, free of harmful substances and produced under good social conditions.
STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®
Guaranteed to be free of any harmful substances! Clothing carrying the label STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® is free of chemical additives and completely harmless to health, from buttons to threads. This is the promise from OKO-TEX® institutes, which throughly test all the materials used. Since we at LÄSSIG always keep in mind the need of protecting babies and children, most of our textiles bear the STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® label.

PETA-APPROVED VEGAN
Every living creature on our planet is important and valuable. That is why a mindful, respectful approach to humans and nature, is a matter of course for us. We do not want to cause any animal to suffer and therefore refrain from using animal ingredients in any of our products. Since 2019, many of our products have been certified PETA Approved Vegan. The certificate is awarded by PETA Deutschland e.V., an association that aims at stopping animal cruelty. It guarantees that our products are created without animal testing.
BPA-FREE
Bisphenol A (BPA for short) is a chemical softener that is used, in particular, in everyday plastic items. It can also be found in items for babies and toddlers, such as pacifiers, bottles, teething rings and lunch boxes. The problem: When it comes into contact with food, BPA can dissolve, enter the human body and cause damage to health. To prevent this, all our products are proven to be free of BPA.
